American Humane Association and a few of our furry friends are delighted to invite you to our Coast-to-Coast Open House to kick-off the 100th anniversary of BE KIND TO ANIMALS WEEK
Wednesday May 6, 2015 4:30 – 7:30 PM Local Time
In 1915 American Humane Association launched the longest-running commemorative week in U.S. history – Be Kind to Animals Week.
This historic undertaking taught generations of schoolchildren the value of treating all the creatures with care. To mark the 100th anniversary of Be Kind to Animals Week, we are launching a year-long national campaign.
American Humane Association led the humane movemet throughout the last two centuries, pioneering major advances in the protection of children and animals. It is now time to address the remaining challenges to the world’s creatures, and cultivate the next generation of Americans committed to our core principles of caring, compassion, and hope.
