|There are less than 3 days before the end of the year, and I have to admit: I’m concerned about the many challenges nature faces in 2016…and about whether we’ll have the funds in place to tackle them.|
Jean, we haven’t heard from you yet, but I’m hoping you’ll make your tax-deductible, year-end gift by the December 31 deadline to protect nature.
I can’t possibly sum up all of the urgent priorities you’ll help with in a single email, but here are three reasons why we need your continued support in 2016:
- Half the world’s major rivers are being seriously polluted or depleted.
- Populations of iconic wildlife species are crashing toward zero.
- We’re losing 1.5 million acres of land to development each year.
Together, we’ve already made significant progress, but your continued support is essential to keep the momentum going. We need to take immediate action to restore our natural world before it’s too late.
Please make your tax-deductible donation before the 12/31 deadline.
To thank you for your enduring commitment to protecting nature, when you make your donation, we’ll send you a free fleece blanket featuring a snuggly red fox! It’s our way of saying “thanks” for giving back to nature.
Every time I think about the clock ticking down on 2015, I can’t help but worry that time is running out for the cherished lands, waters and wildlife that we love.
Help save our natural wonders before they’re lost forever.
Give by the December 31 deadline.
Thank you for your continued commitment to nature.
