“Wild About Africa” Friday – October 2, 2015 – 5pm to 8pm An exclusive photography gala benefit featuring more than 90 photographs taken by Bristol native: Deborah Yarde, on her many expeditions to Africa. All prints are professionally mounted and will be offered for sale. This is a fundraising event for ELCCT, which is a private, non-profit environmental education and land preservation organization that operates two educational facilities: Indian Rock Nature Preserve and the Harry C. Barnes Memorial Nature Center in Bristol, CT. Indian Rock provides environmental programs and activities to schools year-round and host to approximately 800 summer campers each year. Deborah and her husband Bruce are generously covering all costs associated with this event. As a result, every dollar collected for admission and sale/auction of photographs will be used to support ELCCT’s programs. Cost: $30/per person, which includes food, wine, and beer (food provided by Emily’s Catering of Bristol). Adv
